15-Year-Old Pakistani TV Star Umer Shah Succumbs to Cardiac Arrest, Leaves Industry Grieving

In a deeply saddening development that has shaken Pakistan’s entertainment industry, 15-year-old child actor Umer Shah has passed away, Dawn reported. The young star, celebrated for his radiant smile and captivating screen presence, died of a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Monday at his hometown, Dera Ismail Khan.
Family members and medical reports revealed that Umer had suffered from severe vomiting, which caused fluids to enter his lungs and ultimately triggered the cardiac episode. There was also mention of an earlier incident involving a poisonous snake found in the house, though its connection to his death has not been confirmed.
His elder brother, Ahmed Shah, announced the tragic news on Instagram, asking fans to keep Umer and the family in their prayers. “This is to inform you that our little shining star, Umer Shah, has returned to Allah Almighty. I humbly request everyone to remember him and our family in your prayers,” he wrote.
This marks the second heartbreaking loss for the family, who had earlier mourned the death of their youngest sister, Ayesha, in November 2023.
