Afridi takes dig at BCCI, Suryakumar Yadav: ‘Handshake snub was a global embarrassment

Pakistan coach Mike Hesson was furious, and the situation escalated further when skipper Salman Agha skipped the post-match presentation, refusing to interact with former India batter Sanjay Manjrekar.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) even warned of pulling out of the Asia Cup unless the ICC removed match referee Andy Pycroft from the rest of the tournament. Should Pycroft oversee Pakistan’s upcoming clash against the UAE and the PCB follow through on its threat, Agha and his men could face elimination from the competition.
Following India’s victory, Suryakumar Yadav dedicated the win to the Indian Armed Forces, expressing solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack. Shahid Afridi, however, reacted strongly to the gesture, accusing the Indian players of turning into a “disgrace on the global stage.”
